Epi Info was a free statistical software package supported by Center for Disease Control (CDC) in the US. It first came in a DOS-version and was later replaced by a Windows version. CDC took a decision to phase out Epi Info. The option to download Epi Info was removed in January 2025. Existing downloads will continue to work for some time but when Windows and the .NET framework updates Epi Info may in the future stop working.
Some functions in Epi Info has been preserved in Open Epi, a free open source statistical software. Open Epi is available online but has not been updated since 2013. Jamovi can be recommended as a replacement for Epi Info.
